Selection Guidance: How to Choose
Select membranes based on the application area and exposure: For below-grade foundations with high water tables, pre-applied HDPE membranes offer a mechanical bond to poured concrete, preventing lateral water migration. For exposed roofs, torch-applied APP-modified bitumen membranes are preferred for their excellent UV resistance and high-temperature stability. SBS-modified membranes are ideal for buried structures and podiums due to their superior low-temperature flexibility and elongation. Always specify a heavy-duty bituminous protection board to safeguard the system from backfill impact.
