Wastewater Treatment Plant Case Study
Geobit Group successfully delivered a state-of-the-art BETOFLEX® material solution for the Wastewater Treatment Plant project. Working closely with engineering consultants and main contractors, our specialized waterproofing systems were applied to guarantee absolute moisture resistance, chemical durability, and long-term structural integrity under demanding local conditions.

Technical Specifications & Execution
Aggressive Chemical & Abrasive Wear
Concrete tanks at wastewater facilities handle organic acids, hydrogen sulfide gases, and abrasive sediments. Regular concrete deteriorates rapidly under acid attack, leading to structural leaks and environmental contamination.
Crystalline Waterproofing & Seamless Polyurea Shell
Geobit applied a dual chemical-protection system. Active water leaks were first plugged using BETOFLEX® Plug-Fast rapid-setting cement. The concrete tank interiors were then treated with BETOFLEX® Slurry C-20 to crystallize concrete capillaries. Finally, BETOFLEX® Pure Polyurea HP was hot-sprayed, creating a seamless, 2mm-thick elastomer lining that is impervious to acids, alkalis, and constant abrasion.
Quality Assurance & Execution
The wastewater treatment tanks were fully sealed and protected. Testing verified zero leakage and 100% containment of wastewater, ensuring full compliance with environmental regulations and eliminating future maintenance shut-downs.
